Apart from the fact that both of them were the most outstanding players of the series and as it was difficult to single out one for the award considering the excellent performance of both the players,I do not not read anything else from the decision to give the Man of the series award to both of them.

Nothing. There is nothing to cheer about the performance of players Indian origin in other teams. Ofcourse we have to accept that Chanderpaul is the best batsmen in the current WI team and Panesar is the best spinner in the current English team.

It goes on to show that an Indian can dish out a world class performance if he puts his/her 100% into the game and not 10% into the game and 90% into advertisements as seen in the case of cricketers representing India.

~Chanderpaul is one of the best timers of
the cricket ball in these two decades.
This senario denotes that Indian's could
perform much better when they are free from the
interference of BCCI tyrony.
BCCI still could not take the best out of
brilliant Indian cricket players.
