why do white men think black women want to be accepted by them. in my experiences, only a FEW black women exclusively date white men. yeah, yeah, yeah, i know race doesn't matter as long as you love the person inside, but i just get the feeling that most white men think black women want to be loved and adored by them and i'm here to tell you THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE. btw, i'm not black nor am i racist..

Do white men think that? I'm a white man and I don't recall that thought ever crossing my mind.

Not all white men think this way. And I am sure there are black women who dont really care what white men think about them. When I met my boyfriend he was looking to date outside his race and hey....since I date only white men, I figured why not get together? I like certain white men, but I am not going to kill myself if a few white men dont like the way I look because of my skin colour. Hey, I am very picky and the kind of white guy I like is hard to find lol. Also, not all black american women want to be with a white man...it seems most black american women stick with black men.

I don't think that all White men think that and as a Black woman I can tell you that I don't feel the need to be adored and loved by any man or person. I want to be love but I have enough love for myself already.

I know not all white men feel this way but some may. I think it's because White men are basically in power of everything, they're at the top of the food chain, so many people think and believe that in order for them to be valued you have to be accepted by a white man, I think this goes for many women of color and not just Black women.

we do huh? wanna know what i think? i think that any woman wants to be loved and adored by the man she's with no matter what colour he is, if she's a black woman and he's a white fella then yes she's wants to be loved and adored by him, it kinda goes without saying otherwise what's the point of the relationship?

What the heck are you talking about? Sounds like a big stereotype to me. I, for one, am a white dude and I could care less what black women think of me, aside of the fact that I like to think I'm a fairly nice person in general. I'm married to a white girl, and happily, so why would I care who someone else dates? I mostly know white guys as friends, too, and none of them cares if a black girl "adores" them or not. We all love black people! But not in THAT way. So I don't get what you are driving at. It doesn't make any sense.

I have to validate AnArdRi's comment. In 37 years of adulthood as a white male, I've never I've never thought about this "issue."

Personally I have never dated anyone outside of my races(Black and Cuban)...but that's not to say I wouldn't...the opportunity just hasn't presented it's self....As far as feeling like like I need to get someones approval...Never...I'm me and who ever doesn't like it...That's their problem...not mine
