i grew up in plenty of trailer parks when i was a kid. some of them were pretty rough - one of them our neighbors were big headbangers always blasting guns n roses and they had a pitbull that would try to eat us on our way to school. we have a lot of drunk natives here and they used to sit on our doors and cry. no big deal. the trailers were actually all decent except one that had a leaky roof and then the carpet smelled. but finally we took one of the trailers and moved it to a 5 acre parcel we bought. then we added on bedrooms and a mudroom and pretty soon you couldnt tell it was a trailer. looked really nice inside and out. poverty builds character. for a long time we didn't have running water up there though which sucked but luckily in alaska you're never the only one without. tons of people here go without running water (and rich people too not just because they're poor, they just want to live as subsistently as possible). it makes you appreciate life a lot more.

That depends on the park you're located in, your landlord's rules, and your location. For the first eight years of my life, I lived in a trailer park with domestic gun violence across the road, a pimp next door, and a group that would disappear as soon as a police car showed up. We moved away, and then later I wound up in one for five years that was very calm, quiet and clean because the landlord was an overbearing vulture. This actually worked out quite nicely for trailer park atmosphere. Since then, I have moved into an actual apartment, which is much nicer.

Believe it or not our trailer park communities out here at the beach are so expensive, you can't even get a lot for 1200.00 a month. They are right by the beach and they are all new and nice. So no I don't ever see those trashy ones out here at the beach in Cali. I live in a 3-Story townhome where I can see a trailer community down the street. Looks really pretty. But I still couldn't live in one.

Can't help with that one.....However the City's equivalent to the trailer Park is the Projects where you have people hanging out in the lobby 18 hours a day, broken in mailboxes, garbage on the floors, urine in the elevators and stairwells.....ah...that's home!!!

NO lol! there are a bunch of elderly people and mexicans. most people ar enice. the white people are the worst actually but they are only a small percentage, but that seems to be what trialer parks are notorious for despite the fact that they only make up a small part of the trailer park community!

Lived in one, notice the tense. Rent a home. Not only do you have to deal with neighbors, but usually bad management as well.
