This could be the first indication of livebearer disease. It's not really a disease, but more of an environmental condition. If you don't keep some salt in your tank I would advise adding 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons and see if she perks up. Depending on what other fish you have in the tank you may be able to add more salt, but that level should prevent "livebearer disease"

mollies dont go to the bottom of the tank to lay eggs as the give birth to live young
have u done any water tests and if so what are the readings
is there enough water movement on the surffice if not use a spray bar on ur filter
could be some kind on inturnal infection which u will not know about just at looking at ur fish
but check ur water readings as 95% of fish deaths are due to poor water quailty
ammoina 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0 ( but under 50 is fine
PH 7.8
hope this helps

she could be ill, take her out of the tank put her in a smaller bowl/container with less water, she will need to come to the top for oxygen the tank may be too deep and she could drown if she's unwell,if she starts tilting to the side she is going to die.Keep her seperated from the other fish until she seems to recover, are any of the other fish attacking her?

is she suppose to be black or another color? if she is...*1

there is a solution to that..it is when the fish has black dots all over them and you can get it at any pet store. it is a clear liquid substance that is suppose to help her.

*1 she has a type of virus that either you arent feed her as much or are feeding her too much.

it also can depend on the tank size..you can only have a certain amount of fish per size of the tank. check that out on your tank.

If your fish looks bloated or the scales pop out like a pine cone then it could be dropsy - a internal infection. It is highly contagious and is hard to cure, you have to treat it as soon as possible.

as long as she does not seem to be respiratory stressful, there's no longer something to be afflicted approximately. Mollies swim tremendously lots everywhere, and each now and then they'll relax on the gravel or decorations. it is in simple terms their way of taking a destroy.
