The biggest rip off artist is Mike Hampton. His 8 Year / $121 Million dollar contract signed in December of 2000 currently ranks as the 18th richest contract for a sports athlete.
I don't think he's was worth anywhere close to that, despite what Scott Boras says.

Eric Milton
They are paying him around 10 million and he has had around 5.00 era his entire carrer with the reds. He got hurt this season and wont play for the rest of the season and thats a good thing.

Name one other player in the history of the game who was down a run with the tying and winning runs on with two outs in the bottom of the 9th of a Pennant-deciding game who took a called third strike. Even if he swung and missed, he would still have been trying. Yet another colossal waste of money by New York's Other Team.
