Who can predict how a team will do? This game is so unpredictable because of the variables involved (dominance on any given day by a pitcher, weather, injuries, fatigue from the grind, etc.)

Julio Lugo is a good defensive shortstop but not a good hitter at all...doesn't hit the ball well and he doesn't get on base as well you would like him too...he's very impatient at the plate too. He's got monster speed but other than that nothin much to say bout him..he should be a utility player instead of a eveyrday starter

Coco crisp is a defensive outfielder and just like lugo doesn't belong in the everyday lineup

I was happy to see Coco do well last night. I am pulling for him to get his act together, because he gives 100% all the time. J.D. Drew is overrated as it is in my opinion and it's nice to see he is actually hitting now. Lugo, man, he is just bad right now. He can't even put a bunt down. My biggest concerns this year Papi and Manny. Lowell has more homeruns than both of them, which is nuts. Papi has a good avg, but his and Manny's power are not there and they are not getting the RBI's as usual. I know Manny usually starts of slow, but it's now the middle of June and that excuse no longer holds water here. These guys need to get their hitting on track. Lugo is key as well, but hardly as important as Manny and Papi.

J D Drew needs to get his act together. If he does not produce for Boston he is done in the major leagues in my opinion. Too man stops and not enouogh production to justify getting more offers on the table.

Coco Crisp is doing fine for now. I think for him he needs to just stay consistent and he will be fine. He is a huge base stealing threat once he gets on base.

Lugo unfortunately he will have to be a work in progress.

I think jd and coco are diffinetly been doing well the past few games. Hopefully they'll keep it up and do as well as youkilis and pedroia did when they came out of their slumps. As for Lugo.. I don't know what's up with him. Once he's on base he's a very good runner. same with crisp. I also see Many and Ortiz going downhill a bit from the games I've seen.
