photos of me dont usually really look like me or portray what my personality is.. does it mean something about my personality?

no, it just means that cameras are evil, neurotic things that want us to be unhappy.

No- it's just that cameras and video only capture you as a two-dimensional person. Many people are still very attractive without being photogenic. I have this experience frequently. I'm actually pretty nice looking girl, but in pictures I always look like I have a double chin or a HUGE nose, or something, just because of the angle the camera caught me at.

You may be slightly camera shy and don't realize you are reacting differently to the camera/camcorder. Sometimes also lighting and timing affect the way these come out too. As I have always said some people are just not photogenic. Don't worry about it too much, it happens to a lot of people.
