Would using A 1GB Flashdisk as RAM for Windows Vista ReadyBoost be efficient?

I am considering upgrading RAM by 1 GB and a 1GB flashdisk is quite a bit cheaper than 1GB DDR Memory. But I'm wondering if the flashdisk option is as efficient.

It will "work" if it is a compatable model ( not all support this method) but REAL memory is many times faster than the USB keys, and a MUCH better option

If you have USB 2 it will be ok but if you are a gamer or a person needing Lots of ram buy new or more RAM would be faster
