lol Maybe I was always just too cautious becuase I never wore tampons to bed. The pads they have now are designed for overnight use and protect you moreso than the older ones. I suppose I always just figured IF I had an accident during the night that clothing / sheets could be laundered but with tss, you don't get a second chance. TSS kinda scares me bu it's up to you.

Just because women wear tampons to bed doesn't mean they should. It is risky because there are too many hours that bacteria can breed raising the risk for Toxic Shock Syndrome. I had TSS from super tampons and almost died when I was a teen, DO NOT WEAR THEM TO BED regardless of what anyone says here.

I wear super plus tampons all of the time (I have a heavy flow). Yes I always wear them to bed...I usually also have to wear a pad in case I do leak during the night. You'll be fine.

As long as you change it after 8 hours you will be ok. If you are sleeping for 9+ hours, I'd wake up and change it in the middle of the night. Not just for TSS risk, but for how heavy my flow is.

Yes, tampons are safe to wear to bed. If you develop a rash (looks a little like a sun burn) or get a fever, go to the ER right away, as it is a sign of toxic shock. If you are really worried about toxic shock, and it will keep you from sleeping, check out a product called ‘Instead’. They have a lower risk of toxic shock, and are very comfortable, but take a bit to get used to using them.

I used to years ago then when TSS came out I just alternated
between pads & tampons the pads they have now are way better & keep your bedsheets safe..so maybe you could try that... it worked for me

You're really not supposed to leave them in for more than 8 hours, but lots of people do and they're fine... but keep in mind super plus has the highest risk of TSS.

TSS is rare and very hard to get. I dont wear tampons to bed but thats just my preference. It is safe to wear them to bed, though.

I wear them to bed and haven't had any problems, but if you are not bleeding a lot then don't wear super plus wear something that works better with your flow.

Yes, I do. Tampon and pad because I bleed really heavy. Wear the right strength for your flow.
