Results: North won, slaves freed

Conservatives: Religious Leaders
Results: We are monkeys, not gods.

Liberals: Idealists
Conservatives: Racists
Results: There is still Racism, but generally, The Idealists won.
CONGRESS:
Liberals: Democrats
Conservatives: Republicans
Results: Undecided, but why could GOP win? Republicans believe gay marriage and abortion are wrong cuz of "GOD" With this record, why can they win?!

A few things:
1. To the conservatives saying: Youre wrong because Lincoln was a republican, so republicans do win: After and During WW2 there was a political Realignment. Republicans WERE liberal but drifter to conservative and became the party of the south, while Democrats, once the party of the south during the Civil war, became liberal. AKA: If Lincoln were alive today, he would be a democrat. Proof: The values in the north and south have barely changed, but while the south was once all for dems, they are all for GOP; the opposite in the North.
2. Ronald Reagan was TERRIBLE. He VETOED a CIVIL RIGHTS BILL! THEN his veto was OVERRIDDEN BY CONGRESS! He was a racist, dont deny it.
3. The republicans are clearly a racist party in general (On purpose rarely, mostly just by accident) notice how the dem candidates are diverse (Blacks, Women, Hispanics, White Men) while republicans are all White Men. They are the party of the ignorant. 68% dont believe in evolution. Idiots.
4. I have no problem with religion. Jews and other religions like that are good, in that they teach you to respect but QUESTION the bible! Republicans generally say the bible is unequivically perfect and is true down to the letter. Republicans are ignorant and wont change.
5. The Democrats are liberals, but it doesnt mean the party will live. Dems will die, Republicans may reign for 10 years, but if the world hasnt hit armeggedon, a new liberal party will rise and dems will be reborn.

The world being flat was not decided in England did you know that and the issue was more complicated than you think. Since you seem to list Republicans as conservative always did you know that without the Republicans in the House and Senate the Civil Rights legislation would never have passed, they voted for it over southern dems. And what do you think Ronald Reagan was - his conservative agenda changed America and the world drastically for the better.

Conservatives win some of the time, moderates win some of the time, and liberals win some of the time.
Also, you are distorting what some conservatives represent. Just because some were bad doesn't mean that they ALL were bad. This goes equally for liberals as well - not all of them were "saints". You make the issue look like its completely "black and white" and it isn't - its a lot more complicated than your simplistic representation.
BTW: We are biologically classified* as apes, not monkeys - monkeys have prehensile tails and apes do not.

That definition might be in wiki or somewhere for the WORD, but that sure doesn't define the political pov.
The term comes from the way in which the Constitution is to be interpreted. And this is where this gets important. Stay with me...
That Revolutionary War you are claiming Liberals won? That was us, honey.
And we think those guys had more wisdom and sense about what they meant when they drafted the US Constitution than some radical judges in the '70's did.

Your definition and examples are a stretch. Conservatism comes form the root latin word "conservare" which means to guard, observe and keep. In the context you are using it, it doesn't define the nature of political conservatism which Roger Scrutin defined as " maintainence of the social economy". Or , to maintain the life and health of a social organism for as long as possible. Thus avoiding the degradation of social and cultural values. ie press 1 for English!
