Well, according to the dell website, you can replace the device - the question you should ask is what with?

Internal components like that are proprietary to the manufacturer and usually can't be replaced by the end-user. You can however, buy an external USB Wireless adapter and use that instead (disable the onboard one)

I had a similar subject as quickly as I have been given a on the spot community for my dwelling house. the foremost laptop labored great and then the laptop does not "connect". It grew to become into the main retarded element, yet after some hours it began working. I had to set it up, the internet connection and on the spot connection to the laptop, approximately 5 situations. get rid of the porgram and load it lower back lower back. I stood on the threshold of the router and finally it labored. Then after approximately 6 weeks it stopped working lower back. i'm not sure what motives the relationship to act like that, yet i found it very problematical.

Disable it and install an external adapter. I think to change internally would require some technical skill.

if you do not do a repair on the computer for the internal ..

you would be able to disable the card from device manager and purchase a external card and then place it in to the pcmcia slot and install drivers // then on you go ..
