Katie isn't a good name for a news anchor, who's next Brittany or Tiffany? Katie's dead last. News anchors on Univision ae more professional.

Charles Gibson gets my vote now. Trained under the brilliant Peter Jennings I like his broadcast as he produces it. I have noticed some changes after the first year anniversary that I do not like. ABC TV News. Katie Couric is in the wrong place. Ratings poor. Sorry, I can't get past the perky Katie on the couch. Gibson the GMA vet always showed demeanor and humanity yet a strong precense.
Dan Rather, Geraldo, not bad and Walters was always good.
I do not watch faux news anymore. Thanks.

my favorite is Lestor Holt and NBC weekend news. i have liked him since l first saw him on MSNBC. Next l like Brian Williams. Lestor Holt also anchors the weekend Today show. I don't watch Katie C. so l can't answer.

I think are levels to being an anchor. Overall I think John Roberts, Matt Lauer, Mr. Smith, Soledad ,Katie and Shepard Smith are great. I respect Mr. Hume and Mr. Blitzer. too. You have to respect the confidence and relax atmosphere T.J. Holmes and Don Lemon brings to the CNN set. The diversity in stories must go to Mrs. Anmanpour and Anderson Cooper so just what are you looking for he/ she have certainly have a mike already.

Honestly, I think Jon Stewart is the best one, even if it is a fictional news program, LOL. Katie irritates me- she's like a Care Bear or something, even on the evening news.
