If you could afford just a leedle more than $1000 look around for a good price on
Apple Macbook 13-inch (Core 2 Duo T7200)
PC mag has been pushing this as the latest wonder of wonders.

thats rly tough for under $1000 uhh here are some. i do not like dell but they have the best value.
