Bases loaded with two outs in the last inning for the other team and you are ahead by one run. When their next hitter steps into the batters box, who has been playing the entire game, you immediately realize someone else is due up and he is hitting out of order based on the line-up card given to you before the game by the other manager. Give me your options and tell me what you would do and why. Hint: There is only one best option that all MLB managers would do.

Pitch to him, if you get the out the games over either way, but if he gets a hit then it's a forfet and the team looses anyways, so as a manager you sit there and keep your damn mouth shut and keep you bench coaches from saying anything also. After the first pitch they can't change the batter, so one way or another they loose.

You have the pitcher throw 1 intentional ball and then go out and notify the umpire that they are hitting out of order (if the ump has not already noticed).
He will then be called out for batting out of order.

I may be wrong, but I'd pitch to him. Wouldn't he be out after the first pitch?
