I assume this question is meant for gays/lesbians. The question is as silly as asking a straight person if they've ever tried to "go" gay. But you should know that many, many gay/lesbian people did try "going straight" because that's what our society expects people to do and that's what children are programmed to do before they can even talk. Those gay/lesbian people who tried "to go straight" found it didn't work for them emotionally, psychologically, or physically, so they then "became" gay/lesbian to follow their natural tendancy.

Tried everyday, when i found out i was gay. After some time we all come to the conclusion that it is just not possible to "go straight" and accept it.

It will never work out. I am a teenager who found I was bi. I accepted it but then I was scared because I am a christian. I asked a question recently asking if it okay to reject my bisexuality. Most of the answers said not too and too follow your heart. I am doing that and realize that I can't help being who I am. I was born a bisexual male.

If you are truly gay, why would you want to go against your true self?? Being gay is tough enough without throwing nonsense like "trying to go straight" into the mix.

I've tried to give up smoking once. But I was living in denial. People who smoke were born like that. It's a shame there is so much discrimination against smokers.

Umm yeah...but having to deal with a man and his " man parts" kind of spoiled it for me. Seriously though you are born gay/bi and no matter how much you try to suppress or deny it it will still be within you. You end up so burnt out and tired from playing at that game. It's better to just work on accepting yourself.

Well...I thought I was straight for a while...but now that I know I'm not? I see no point in denial. So I won't be trying anytime soon. >.<
