i work for this attorney who got his lisence to practice law taken away for 90 days, he is using another attornies name for the time, even some of the local courthouses know he's doing it and are ok with it. that disgusts me. I want to turn him I dont want him to know it was me, not because i'll lose my job, but i don't want any bad blood since he is also a longtime family 'friend'. I would normally mind my own business, but he is a egotistical jerk and he rips so many people off and he deserves to be punished.

I have my doubts about your ethical views. You state he's an egotistical jerk that rips people off, yet you work for him. In a sense your helping him rip people off, what does that say about you? If he's so bad, just quit.

You know, I used to work in a company full of unethical people, both in business practices and in their personal lives. The boss was a sexually harrassing cokehead who kept getting his cars repossessed due to lack of payment. His partner was embezzling from the company and eventually broke in after hours and stole all the computers so he could sell them to maintain his Corvette payment. All along I knew they were basically ripping off and lying to their employees as well as their clients, but I'll tell you this- the day I tried to call one of them on it was also my last day working there, and I never really hung out with anybody from there again, and I had considered them all really good friends. Really consider this before you turn him in- if you don't like working for an unethical man, find another job.

Sad, but this kind of nonsense is going on all over the world. Unfortunately, unless you have the resources to prevail financially and emotionally since he is a family friend you will only be the one to suffer. Perhaps, you should think of leaving that crooked environment. I was in your position too once. I prayed for guidance, wisdom and a path that is beneficial to me and society. I got it. The people I left behind "got theirs" on their own and I prevailed. Good Luck.

All you have to do is make another Complaint to the bar of the state where he holds the license and he probably will be disbarred forever.

This work he's doing for this other attorney----is it para-legal work? If you turn him into the bar association, is this what they'e going to see it as? If it is, you're wasting you're time. They take up for each other.
