Yes, apparently they do.
The American people want truth. I am not saying Fox is 100% fair and balanced - but where else can you go to avoid the left-leaning liberal media?
What other channel does not have a liberal agenda? Fox is the only source fair-minded Americans have that doesn't try to indoctrinate them with socialist views.
That is why people watch it.

It is true. The sad thing is that when candidate Hillary Clinton, B. Obama, McCain and the rest did an interview on Fox they all said that they were the best ones and the fairest ones to do so. People now a days seem to think that Fox News is now no longer a news station. Just because some one in the White House say that they are not because they do not agree with them. Sad but true.

It's good to see all these open minded Leftists get their news from CNN, and then declare themselves so much more informed than the rest of us.
The three major networks are still available to more people in the the U.S., because you can still pick 'em up with a good set of rabbit ears. (For you youngsters, look it up.) CBS, NBC, and ABC still reach more people than cable. The problem is people are watching their local news but not tuning in as much to the national news. Since Jennings, Brokaw, and Rather have left, I think all these newscasts are down.
By the time most of us on this site get home, we know what's going on in the world, Why watch Katie? I'd rather watch Hannity and Colmes mix it up (A Liberal and a Conservative), or watch Bill rip some defenseless Lib. Great T.V.!!!

I have enormous respect and appreciation for FOX news. I like to hear the PLAIN truth. I do not like to be fed a bunch of liberal hooey. The other networks are over-the-top liberal. FOX news is a breath of fresh air. I get my news mainly from FOX. I also watch CNN and MSNBC just to compare. The difference is stark. FOX puts America first. The others blame America first. When given the choice, which do our servicemen and women prefer?
yaboohuba (whatever), you need to get your facts straight. FOX is not carried in many areas, they are catching up though. They are preferred because they are the best.

It's a similar situation with the liberals' hatred of Limbaugh. FOX and Rush expose liberalism to the light of day. Since the left can't debate the issues honestly, their only tactic is to attack the source of their exposure. FOX is the highest rated news station and Rush has the #1 radio talk show in America because so many people watch and listen to them. There's no other way to get the ratings. They provide accurate analysis when such honesty is absent in the rest of the media. If they were dishonest the liberal attacks would have the obvious effect of drawing listeners away to the more liberal outlets. That's not happening, much to the chagrin of the left.

It's really reflects poorly on us as a Nation, providing all the evidence one needs that the electorate in this country is so ill informed and unwilling to address truth, Fox is now news never has been never will be no matter how it tries to dress itself up as such. When the Business show has hooter girls, when there are repeated out and out falsehoods reported as truth it shows we've sunk to new lows, I mean let's not address the problems we face as a nation or even admit we have them when we can watch Blowhards like Hannity, O'Rielly, Dick Morris, Michelle Malkin tell us we're all alright and that it's the just liberals spouting off that's the problem, when the reality is this country has some deep problems that need to be debated and addressed before it's too late.

The sad truth is that news today is based on ratings and that's too bad. The most credible news is still on the major TV networks ABC, CBS and NBC. The 24-hour cable news is problematic because when there's no worthy news, these analysts have too much time to spew a bunch of crap and too many people are swallowing it. C-SPAN & PBS are good. When FOX News dominates these ratings it shows the sad state of affairs in this country. It shouldn't be a popularity contest, if we spent more time covering stories about foreign cultures we may have a better understanding of ourselves.

When Bush was charged by the FCC for violating the Federal anti propaganda Laws. It was in Conspiracy with the FOX news
The Bush/GOP VNR's shown on FOX were designed to deceive the public into believing the VNR was News.
No other news network went along with the VNR plan.

Did you also know that Rush Limbaugh has on average, 30 million listeners a week with 5-10 million listeners at any given time throughout his broadcast? I guess polls are one thing, but RATINGS are another!

I'm a registered repub and I still avoid Fox news. When it comes to news, I want no political slant whatsoever. Just give me the facts and I'll make up my own mind.
Americans need to stop blindly following either party. Politics for the sake of politics is ruining this country.
Once we back away from the Donkey and the Elephant, we may be able to actually move the country forward again.
