hey people , this is the project i have got to be made.
i have to prepare a 30 page long report on how to accomodate atleast 10000 people in space station in outer space for many years.

Well having enough room is the easy part. You'd just needs to construct a big enough facility. It would need to be mostly assembled on earth and carried into space as we don't have the ability to do large-scale construction in zero gravity. If you're trying to accomodate 10,000 people then some must be planning on staying there for a long time. This means that if you want them to survive that you'd have to find a way to insulate the station from the cosmic radiation of space, and the dangerous rock-sized debris that is floating around at speeds faster than a bullet in some cases. And finally, and most importantly, you would absolutely need artificial gravity. Otherwise people couldn't stay long before they started losing muscle mass and bone density.

It is real simple ,just look at the earth it is just a space ship on a very long journey . So your design should have green plants to recycle air. And when the plants die it is the plants recycling your fossil fuels. Like the water cycle as every thing needs to get washed especially the plants. Mother nature has many built in cycles that keeps us well.

Money is the reason, as always. It's much cheaper and more practical to just put a few "boxes" together. We would only need a "wheel" space station to create artificial gravity. Perhaps, there will be the time and the resources for building one. We might as well need one for establishing a permanent space-colony.
