Does the sony ericcson k800 work in the USA?

I am wondering if the k800i (european phone) will work in the USA.

I have heard that they will work but certain features will be unusable. Any truth to this? how importnat are those features?

Looking for answers preferably from those who have the k800.

it's UMTS and triband so it works as far a phoning is concerned. I have no idea which features won't work - maybe data roaming?

K790 is for Americas, while K800 is 3G version for Europe / Asia.
