they have no plan. not one of them have described how they plan on doing anything thats the democratic way. blast the other guy for what he did that way you dont have to say what your gonna do......

Oh they have no plan to continue to fight the war on terrorism instead they will re-deploy our troops to fight the war on Global Warming. Besides I am sure as are most American's that as soon as that "Big Meanie" President Bush goes back to Texas the Terrorist will just go away and leave America alone, and once we defeat the war on Global Warming, they will have to love us!
Everyone is so excited for a change in 2008....hmmmm.

Same thing Ive said all along.:
You hijack a plane, your whole family (aunts, uncles, great grand parents, cousins EVERYONE) is arrested and imprisoned for life, no parole. You kill an American, your entire village is turned to nuclear dust. You kill many Americans, whether in this country or not, and your country becomes a nuclear parking lot. We have to make the price of Terrorism too high and costly for terrorists to want to pay. Sure they don't mind blowing themselves up, but will they be so willing if they know beforehand their mothers are going to Abu Graib, or Git Mo?
Then we get the Army Corp of Engs to mine the HECK out of every cave, sinkhole, depression and mountain pass, all with air support from helicopters. You give Iraq 60 days to get their crap together and run their country, and then we set up units at the Iraq / Iran border and seal it. After 120 days, if Iraqis are still killing each other, we take over completely. No longer a sovereign nation, Iraq becomes the 52nd State of the US.
All factions would rather be dead than American, so I can think of no greater threat to get them to act like the conquered, opposed people we want them to be.

Neither conservatives nor liberals have an answer to terrorism or an effective plan for fighting it because neither side understands terrorism correctly.

I watched Keith Oberman (?) the other day, and I don't think liberals think there is a problem with terrorism . He had some list of 10 "terror" attacks that were stopped by our government before they happened - basically saying the Feds made them all up in order to look good. (This was right after the Airport fuel thing).
So I don't think they will continue to fight something that they do not see as a threat.

How about devoting more of our military resources to fighting Al Qaeda instead of invading nations that don't pose a threat to us and getting caught squarely in the middle of the resultant civil war?

Barack Obama already said it ,increase foriegn aid to those countries that terrorists come from.
So if you want a few billion bucks just form a gang and threaten to blow up Americans.
Put simpler,PAY THEM OFF !

I would think the obvious solution to preventing terrorism here at home would be to, you know, tighten border security and make sure we're not letting people in the country who are terrorists.
I know it's sort of a silly plan, but I think it's just crazy enough to work.

Send all of our resources and soldiers to the mountain range between afghanistan and pakistan and find OBL. Take him out and take out the heart of the terrorists. We should have never been redirected to Iraq.
