I just want to know why you support the man. I especially want to hear what your reactions are to the scandals (scooter, Alberto, missing emails, war in Iraq, etc.). I am looking for informed, mature, relevant ideas and not just what was spit up by Sean Hannity & Co. Please indulge me in this small favor

Yes I am a Liberal but why is it so hard to believe that I want to hear the "other side"? If you can explain things, please do so. There is no hidden agenda here people. I am so used to hearing the angry bickering between parties and the same tired lines repeated over and over again. I am not trying to prove my own point. This is Yahoo! Answers, and all I'm looking for is answers. I really did not expect some of these results I got from the first few that I read....

Ok, in response to the guy who said liberalism is a mental disorder I guess I should have also specified that Hannity & Co. includes Savage.

i support bush for one reason he is our president.even though he does things that i dont like i know some countrys have far worse than him.in our country we can say bad things about him hate him if we want too.many men in uniform gave their lives so we can have all this freedom and some times presidents do things we hate but think the president has to do somethings because he gets top secret information that we do not get to see.sometimes a president has to act on that info even if it turns his fellow citizens against him.so if my president calls me up to serve my country i will do so.he is our president his office represents a great idea that our forefathers had.

I support our leader Mr. Bush, for one he is the elected leader of our country, & I believe that even though he has made some mistakes I still think he is an honorable man that cares about the saftey of the American people. I don't think we went into Iraq using lies, I think alot of people thought they had WMDS, they just got them out of there. The immigration bill is a mistake both parties are making, and it needs to be fixed. Mr. Bush took the reigns of this country at a very difficult time, the war on terror is like no ther war in history and I think that neither side knows the best way to win.

Scandals?

Scooter Libby was charged and convicted for what, exactly? Not having a good memory? He was never the source for the Plame leak, that much was known. He's the victim of an overzealous prosecutor - the investigation should have stopped as soon as it was known that Armitage leaked her name.

Gonzales? What "scandal"? Dismissing US Atty's, after completion of their 4 year term, for not following DoJ directives in pursuing voter fraud and illegal immigration cases? Oooooh, how "scandalous"!

Missing e-mails. This was Republican party e-mail. Why the Democrat sudden interest in e-mails? I don't recall any Democrat outrage when the Clintons and Gore failed to produce subpoenaed official White House e-mails relevant to many of the investigations into their wrong doing.

And what "scandal" is there regarding the war in Iraq, pray tell?

Lastly, if you seek "informed, mature, relevant" answers, why didn't you ask an informed, mature and relevant question?

I would surely support the President if he resigned from office. It's hard to believe that there are this many sheeple who still support him. He makes Nixon look like Mother Theresa. Hell, atleast Nixon cared enough to bring in the EPA and Clean Water Act...

Bush: Consistency, was a very strong and good leader during 9/11 and Afghanistan War, he is listening to bad intel and politicized generals about the Iraq war.

Scooter: It was all Armitage, and he is going to get a pardon anyway by Bush so why even bother?

Alberto: U.S. Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the president, so there should be no scandal at all. He doesn't like them they go period. And also Clinton fired 93, yet no outrage. Can I say double standard?

Missing e-mails: I delete mine all the time

War in Iraq: See above ,and FREE FRANK WUTERICH WHO IS INNOCENT

you know what? I have an ENTIRE CALENDAR of stupid thigs he has said! And i'm sure there's more. Second of all, he invadaed iraq, and called it a WR on TERRor. It was no war on terror. Now it's a war on terror, only because iraq is now a huge mess and there is terrorists there now that we cannot stop. Iraq was never a peoblem. we made it one. it was never a hot spot for terrorists. we made it one. Now all we have to say is we spread terrorism and ruined a country. Sure we got saddam, nut that was only a recipe for more trouble. now we can see the civil war he was keeping the lid on. Bush made america the worst nation. Everyone hates us!!!

peace.
