Why does residents air conditioner blower motor slow down??
I know it's not the capacitors because I check it. The motor is hot? it run for awhile then start slow down?? can someone help??

when I turn the blade it turn easily. could that still be the motor?

sounds like the bearings in the motor are bad. Replace the motor. It can over heat and either sieze up, or there is a possibility that it will get hot enough to cause a fire. Luckily, it's an easy fix.

Another possibility is the evaporator core freezing up (humidity on the coils turning to ice) which would restrict the flow of air across the coil and make the blower motor work extra hard to try to pass air which could cause overheating.

Check that the drains on the HVAC module are open allowing water to drain. Check that when the blower slows down that there is still air coming out of the vents.

Sounds like the motor is going out. I'd grab one from a junkyard and swap it out.
