Male - I have dined in a restaurant alone. Wife goes up north in the summer and sometimes I don't feel like fixing anything to eat.

i'm very mushy and have finished it on quite some events. whilst traveling for company the alternative is that or carry-out so this is an uncomplicated determination. i've got finished it in all varieties of eating places and don't think of anybody cares. If i'm in a clean city and are available across an exceedingly great eating place, this is a sprint unhappy that I wasn't waiting to proportion the journey even though it is nonetheless greater appropriate than lacking out.

I work for a Law Firm here in Chicago and anytime we have a work/business party or my boss wants to take someone special out to dinner he pays for me to eat at different restaurants ahead of time to let him know if it is good or not.
It's sad really, but I get free dinners out of it... Most of the time I'll take a friend with me and we just split their half of the bill, but many times I've sat alone, and they are always very upscale fancy restaurants. It doesn't get much more embarassing. I've learned to mention that I'm scoping out the place for a possible business dinner for a "Major Law Firm" and they drop their noses and treat you like gold after that. It's not really a major firm, but why wouldn't I say so..

Honestly... I have never had the guts to dine alone. But I really respect those people who can. It shows a confidence within yourself that you don't have to have other people constantly around. I'm sure it's a peaceful and independent experience. I genuinely think people who are able to dine alone and do other activities, such as seeing a movie by themselves for instance, are strong people who don't put on heirs.

I havent really but I certainly would if I wanted to. I would even go to a restaurant alone if I were travelling or something - why should I not be allowed to do something nice just because I choose to travel alone?

I am a female, and yes I have . I had just broken up with my boyfriend and I went to the restaurant we met at, that he always took me to . Sure, it brought up memories I wish I could have made more of, but it helped to sort of put that in my past and to be alone made me open my eyes about my love life & such !! :)
