I would suggest you work on your algebra first before advancing into geometry. If you want to post specific questions, such as the 30/60/90 theorm, answerers will be happy to help you.

To understand the "30/60/90 theorm", you need to understand Phythagorean theorm for a right triangle. If the hypotenuse of such a triangle is "h", and the other two sides are "a" and "b", then
h^2 = a^2 + b^2. a and b can be any real positive number, and not just integers.

Say you have a right triangle with an angle "A" formed by the vertex of h and a, and an angle "B" formed by the vertex of h and b. Moreover, let angle "A" be 30 deg. Angle "B" MUST be 60 deg, since they are compliments. Now, set the shortest side, side "b" = 1. From triginometry, you can show that the Tangent 30 deg = sqrt 3/2. From the definition of a Tangent, if side "b"=1, then side "a" = sqrt3/2. Then from Phythagorean theorm, the hypotenuse is twice the shortest side or 2.

If this doesn't make sense, I suggest you go back to algebra and get that understood before progressing further.
