He played in a band called polka tulk which later was renamed Earth which would finally be named Black Sabbath

Ozzy first band is Black Sabbath. They had a previous name before that and were a blues band. Due to an accident and some fingertip lossage the band ended up changing there sound becoming the frontrunners of all that is metal.

The first band he was in was called Earth, they played blues covers,then Black Sabbath,one week before thier first show with the new name guitarist Tony Iommi cut the tip of his finger off in a work accident and had to play with a sewing thimbal on the tip. , then his solo career Ozzy Osbourne, now he mostly tours alone but every once in a while he plays with Sabbath.
