What baud rate should I use for a GPS module that I'm connecting to my computer through a COMM port?

It depends on your GPS model and what the manufacture specified for the output. Some are 4800 some are 9600 and some are 19900. So check the spec sheet for the unit or visit the manufacturers website for the specifications.
