i have endometrisos. i can either have surgery again or live with the pain and take pills? any advise. anybody else have to deal with this?

I opt for the surgury. But, it is not always a permenant fix. Mine keeps going back and I have had multiple surgies to help with my endo. I guess it is a wuestion of which is more bothersaome to you. The yearly maintenance as I refer to it or the pills and hoping and pleading for it to stop hurting

You had surgery before and it didn't solve the problem BUT you have experienced both sides. So you have to decide. I would probably go for the surgery depending on how the spread is, as it can become quite serious.

Do you have children? Do you want children? Can you conceive IVF if you wanted to? If you don't care about your fertility, then you need to do whatever is less painful for you.
