I think this is the epitome of a frivolous lawsuit, the guy's a judge, he should be unbenched for wasting the courts time and the money of the taxpayers to bring this suit. There is a lot of controversy over tort reform and unfortunately this case gives ammunition to the reformists at the expense of people who have really been injured by another party. I think the plaintiff/administrative law judge should be ashamed of himself and he really needs to get a life.

This is such an injustice to the people that work in this country that this made it to this point. This judge making the claims should not be able to get more than five times the cost of his pants even if they were lost. Common sense and fairness were thrown by the wayside here. Any judge that has to weigh her decision should be disbarred for incompetence. I don't think the American tax payers are paying for this kind of court action we need our money spent on real crimes and real problems.

If its anything but disbarment for the judge who brought the lawsuit I'll be pretty mad.
As far as I'm concerned the judge who brought the lawsuit deserves jail time. He has made us the laughing stock of the world again with our justice system. He also has nearly ruined those immigrant's business. They said they would have rather stayed in Korea. How sad is that.

Hopefully she's deciding how much to fine the judge who initiate that idiotic suit to begin with. That guy deserves to be taken off of the bench and disbarred for wasting tax payer money.

Hopefully she will toss the case in the trash can where it belongs!!!!! People disgust me with their pettiness anymore.
I hope the judge recommends a hearing before the bar for this guy.

This is the most atrocious, frivolous case I ever heard of. It costs tax payers $2600 a day, this lawyer should be disbarred.

She is probably trying to write an opinion that dismisses the case without exposing a fellow jurist to disciplinary action.

I would rule for the plaintiff...but only for the cost of replacing one pair of pants; even if he bought name-brand slacks from an upscale retailer he spent less than $250 for them. If he cannot produce a receipt for that particular pair of pants, then he would receive the fair market value of one pair of men's slacks.
Why would I rule for him? Because he won, he cannot turn around and sue them again.
This is why we need serious tort reform. The fact that I could sue you for any reason whatsoever (you might think twice before giving me a "thumbs down"--I could sue both you and Yahoo (who has available cash) for emotional damages) is RIDICULOUS. It has to stop.

I think that judge who brought this suit (no pun intended) should be forced to pay the legal bills of the defendants.
