Do you have to have t mobile to use their phones?

I have verizon and i want to get a tmobile sidekick i.d. I just wanna know if i can or not.

If the sidekick can be unlocked by a provider, then you can use it with Tmobile. I'm not sure if Tmobile uses sim cards but if they do then Verizon won't work because Verizon has to remotely activate their phones.

yes u have to be @ t-mobile or att wireless cause att & tmobile use gsm n verizon n sprint use cdma. u can have the phone unlocked but u could only go between att and tmobile

verizon is cdma....tmobile is gsm. so i'd have to say no.
