My mom does this! About two years ago she became interested in languages. She now speaks Spanish, some French, some Italian and some Japanese. She uses Rosetta Stone and workbooks and watches TV in other languages just for fun. I think she's insane but what else does a 55-year-old widowed nurse have left to learn?

Yes! We just found out that our library offers Rosetta Stone online. You just log in with your library card and you can study any language you want. It's fun too!

IT DEPENDS ON WHY YOU WANT TO LEARN ANOTHER LANGUAGE. IF YOU ARE LEARNING IT JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO KNOW, THEN IT WOULD BE A HOBBY. IF YOU ARE LEARNING IT TO IMPRESS SOMEONE, THEN NO. IT WOULD THEN BE AN EMBARASSING ATTEMPT TO FOOL SOMEONE INTO THINKING YOU ARE SOMETHING YOU AREN'T
