This might not be the right place to ask, since we are crafters and we enjoy doing our own. But I did find some websites of people offering to do it, so there must be people buying it. Here is one price list

If you want to make extra money and scrapbooking is your hobby have you thought of ever becoming a Creative Memories consultant. I love scrapbooking my self and I am also a Creative Memories consultant. If you would like to get in touch with me you can email me at melaniehessecm@sbcglobal.net and if you would like to see the product that I myself use and sell go to my personal business website www.mycmsite.com/melaniehesse Creative Memories spends $1 million dollars a year testing each product(pens, pages, albums, stickers, double sided adhesives for your pictures etc) it is all acid Free, Lignin Free, and buffered. I do know people that pay to have scrapbooks done for them, but personally I would not have someone do my books for me. Would love to talk and answer any questions you might have. You can earn extra money and receive a 30% discount on product as a consultant. So lets say a product you want is $10 you would pay only $7 for that product as a consultant. Hope to hear from you:)

People make and sell premade scrapbooks on eBay all the time! It's definitely the safest place to market and sell things like that. If you look in the completed auctions under crafts > scrapbooking > paper piecing... some premade scrapbook go for a about $200 to $600 for a very well thought out and put together album. Also, if you ever need supplies, let me know! I have a crapload that I am trying to get rid of and if you need ideas on pages/albums, I would help you also!

I do not think I would. Scrapbooking is suppose to be your life from your view-- in my opinion anyways. I wouldnt mind if someone gave me a scrapbook. Now an idea you might want to do is giving classes--
That is just my opinion though. Best wishes on your adventures!

I absolutely think you could make money doing this, but only if you were charging enough to cover your costs and your time. But there are a lot of people out there paying a lot for it because they don't have time to do it themselves.
You should look into becoming a Creative Memories consultant because you would get a nice discount, plus all the products coordinate and are made for multi-uses, so you could easily use the items left over from one person's album to use in another.

Personally I would not. I thought the entire point of scrapbooking was to do it yourself?? I don't see the point in glueing little trinkets and glitter and crap to pages of your photographs in the first place but I know I am one of few who feel this way. I like my photos to be memories in themselves, not dolled up by junk and especially not by someone else who wasn't there and doesn't know what kind of emotion the moment conveyed.
HOWEVER, that being said, I know there are probably people out there who would pay good money for that. You simply need to find your niche, that's all.
Good luck!

Yes, I think they would, but unless you can get your supplies very inexpensively you'd have to charge a fortune to cover what you put into it and your time. I decided to do one of a cruise I took, and granted it was my first so I was buying all initial stuff, but I easily sunk $200 into it right away just in buying the book, background paper, stickers and other decorative items, glue, cutesy scissors, etc. Some of those things will last a long time, but it still adds up.
I'll bet though, some busy Mom's would pay to have one done of their kids, or perhaps families would like one done to remember a deceased relative, or a big event or vacation that was outside the norm.
Good luck with it...I think if you search you can find that niche between desire to have one done, and it not being cost prohibitive for those who want one but don't have the time.

YEA,,, I started making die cuts and selling them a little over a year ago. I've almost earned enough to pay for what I have ever spent on scrapbooking stuff.

It better hold several hundred pictures if I'm going to spend that kind of money. I think it's a tough field. People think of doing that as entertainment, so it would be sort of like getting people to pay you to watch movies for them. But maybe I'm just out of touch.
