Our Sky Digital went down yesterday, it just says "no signal received". We have tried turning it off for 10mins and then turning it back on (which has worked in the past) but this makes no difference. On a signal test it shows no signal at all. Everything is plugged in properly, the dish hasn't been moved and our neighbours are not having any problems at all - anyone got an answer???

sounds like the inside of the box has gone, phone sky to get enginner out to confirm. in most cases it is a surge from the main power supply ( national grid ) that does this.

We had this problem and they tried to send a signal down the line which knocked out the broadband too in the end an engineer had to come out 2 days later and found the box was faulty as had same problem no signal so replaced the box this is second time in 21/2 months but rang up afterwards and got £25-00 credit for inconvenience hope this helps

If you had bad weather like most of us did last night then your dish has been damaged. I lost my signal for abt 10 minutes but then came back up ok, Have lost it before and was broken, the Sky Engineer looked at the dish and the wind/rain etc had dislodged the receiver. Looks like you'll have to call sky - but first I would chk your yellow pages and look for a independant repairer as these are often a lot cheaper.

I would still take all the leads out connecting the box to the tv etc, wait a few minutes and then re-connect again. We have had this happen before and had the no signal recieved message, and then took the leads out again and it worked the second time. It's worth another try.
