Walked infront of somebody when they were taking a photo (by mistake, of course) and recieved abuse from them in another language (they're always tourists)? Or (grr) have you ever waited half an hour for a tourist to take a photo, too scared of their abuse to walk infront of them?

You've got to give a cheeky smile as you wander into frame. It's harder to shout at someone who's beaming at you because they are either really nice or totally mad.

I live in a city that has more tourist than locals, when they are taking a picture they usually take up the entire sidewalk so you can't walk around them, I try to wait, but if it is taking them too long I just walk through it. Most of them are intimidated by my look, so they won't say anything to me.

Yes there was two chinese people taking photos of a cat outside a seedy little hotel the other day, I was in a rush to get to work on time cos the tubes had been majorly playing up and there was no way I could walk round them so I walked straight through their view of the cat and it scared the cat off completely. They said something in chinese and I just turned round and said 'its a cat for gods sake, dont you have them in china?'
I was well p*ssed off! They EAT cats in china, so why were they taking pics of it! To show their family back home what an English flavoured cat looks like?!

The second thing happens to loads of people. I've never done the first one, but I'm sure even if I walked in front of somebody in the town I lived I would get lots of abuse by foreign people, so I try not to do it...ever!!

If its a busy spot then I just keep on walking. Sometimes they just stop all of a sudden and start having their family gather. Its rediculous! But if its empty and im not in an hurry then yes I wait. It usually doesnt take that long. I just dont want to stop and have the people behind me run into me!

no, I havent. I usually end up taking the picture FOR them! lol
Which I dont mind if I'm not busy, but If I'm in a hurry, I'll walk behind the person taking the picture. Only the courteous thing to do. But if they're in the way completely, and I need to get past them, then yeah I'm gonna walk in their way.

I live in a city with lots of tourists and I do that on purpose. I like knowing that they will be developing a picture with me in it. Maybe I'll even make their photo album!

sometimes i walk in front of them and i accidentally im in the picture some times but most of the time i end up waiting-especially when its really crowded and they take forever because theyre not sure how to use the camera- once my uncle went up to them and was like- how about i try this, and that way you can be in the picture too- it worked so we only had to wait for 10 minutes -lol-good luck =)
