I think it will take him 2 games because he'll be trying for it. Not only that but the pitchers might not give him anything to hit. I mean, who wants to be in the record books as the guy who gave up the homerun

Same day. GO BARRY!
A-Rod will eventually break his record though.
And for all you Barry haters go **** yourselves. How could he cheat the game if baseball didn't care? Last time I checked cheating was breaking a rule, correct? There was no rules against what he hypothetically (hasn't been proven) took. Guys like Palmeiro and Ryan Franklin who actually got caught under the new policy are the real cheaters.

The better question is who really cares?? Barry would have probably been a Hall of Famer without the "alleged" steroid scandal - now he is going into the Hall with it hanging around him and he does not even seem to care about it. Shame on him for tainting the game and shame on Bud Selig for allowing the game to be tainted.

I say he will tie the record and break the record on the same day with two 500 foot shots. Before you give me a "down thumb" my guess has to be just as good as anyone else.

i think he is still on number 460 legally* so i don't think he will break it (legally*)
*A home run before steroids became obvious or one that Chone Figgins would have hit out if he made the same contact with his power.
