The very best remedy for an energetic wake-up is a fruit smoothie the very first thing in the morning. It consist of 7 kinds of your favorite fruit: You must have a blender.
This is what I put in my blender: 30 grapes and 2 medium size oranges. To start the juice, I blend them first. Then I add 2 peeled kiwi, I slice 1 pear, plus core, I slices 2 apples plus core. I cut the tops off of 6 strawberries and drop those in. Lastly I add some pine-apple. Sometimes I buy a fresh one and cut one nice chunk from it and cut it up in the blender. Other times I buy a can of pineapples and rinse the sugary juice off and put about 8 chunks in the blender. Then I blend all that nice delicious fruit up and drink it. This a great energy starter for the day and very good for you. I guarantee that you will not get hungry until lunch. You will not have that in between snacking going on either. Vitamins, a couple of banannas, a Red Bull and a cool shower. Potassium and caffine will wake you up. The cool shower will revive you.
I do the same think maybe once or twice a week. It's not good for you but sometimes it's the only way to get the work done. I know how you feel. You'll sleep good tonight :)

When you have to leave in an hour- where are you going? I ask as a quick shopping trip, even if it is only to run in a favorite store and check out the sales gets my heart pumping and then I am wide awake! LOL

A shower will help. Also, try picking up some Vitamin Water at the local gas station or qwiky-mart. They have a flavor called "Revive" that I can't do without - and no caffeine!!! :)

Ice water wakes me up really well.
And I read somewhere that eating an apple will wake you up better than a cup of coffee.
Also, you can drink tea and green tea to wake you up really well.
