I have a Lazy Boy rocker that is under a year old. I rock fairly frequently in it, and it has begun to squeak. I can' tell if it's the spring or the wood making the squeak. Any tips?

Spray a little WD40 on the metal part underneath the chair it should take care of it. Always worked on mine. If you don't have WD40 try a little cooking oil on your finger rub it on the metal, that works too.

It's probably metal parts making the squeak. Use 3 in 1 oil on any joints of the metal. WD-40 works but has a smell.

squeaking from loose joints. if you can get some glue into the joints and clamp them tight. some spots are diff to clamp you can hold them tight and drive a finish nail into the joint. wait 24 hrs to dry. Elmers carpenter glue, even try their drip less- it is thicker and fills in the voids better
