For some reason when I add up data, the calculation is not working for some reason it is almost always off by .o1. Is there something in the setting that may be throwing it off, please help.

Too frequent and too significant digit to be that early Pentium screw up. What would happen if you do all the calculations manually in Windows Calculator applet? Do the same in other spreadsheet programs if you can.

If the cells in the spreadsheet are of type Currency this is likely a rounding error from cascading formulae instead of putting all calculation together. Make them ordinary Numbers can also help.

Excel is probably rounding off the numbers. You can solve this problem by increasing the number of digits shown in your anwer.

Go into Format, Cell, choose Number and increase the number of digits after the decimal point to three or four.
