What do you think it's easier...?

to start having faith or to give up faith in something you want to believe, but you don't have proof?

giving up would be easier for me...convincing me to have faith in something is virtually impossible without proof and/or valid reasoning...Blind faith...never.

sadly faith is flawed in the sense it is proofless. There in my honest opinion, is always a reason or cause for thoughts, they don't merely exist without reasoning. The fact that their is reasoning tosses faith out the window, and it becomes only a belief. The question "WHY?" can always be asked, and regardless of what people would presume to believe why makes faith flawed. Ask someone "why do you have faith in ?" the fact that you can answer, actually exposes logic or lack their of... which regardless of the soundness of the logic... still disproves the actual existence of faith. The experiments to actually prove the theory are immoral.. like the studies done to Albert with the fuzzies.

I think we're biologically predisposed to have faith and belong to something bigger than us. We're communal in that sense.
Faith is an aspect of that because it creates a sense of "together" in us.
I think it is much easier to lose faith and have it waver than to gain it.
It takes a good deal of hard work to remain faithful in many respects.
It is an easy trap to be a cynic.

if someone feels the need to believe in something to make them feel better they will fool themselves into believing anything
letting go of that security, proof or not is harder
