Try this: (Leave him on the feeding tube), go to him and tell him by name that you're going to try something to make him better. Then, bring several objects to him with distinctive textures, preferably things he is familiar with, and tell him "feel this brush...thank you, feel this [insert name of object]...thank you" and continue this until there is SOME kind of result - change in blood pressure, SOMETHING. When there is a change, tell him he has done well and that you are done for the day. Do it until you get a result, it may take 20 minutes, it may take two hours, keep going until you get a result. You may not recognize any change at first, once you see a change for the first time, you'll know what to look for.

Continue this proceedure until he comes out of it.

I've seen some amazing results.

(If a month goes by with no results at all, then pull the feeding tube... but please, try this first, and fill out an organ donor form).

Write me if you need more.

No, you might want to wait at least a few more weeks. 2 months might not be long enough to wait, because you need to be sure that his body can live without the feeding tube. This is a very big decision, and your whole family needs to make a complete decision, because if the feeding tube is took out to early, and his body cant support itself, and something bad happens, someone in your family will be in shame.

Tough decision...people base their decions on the idea that patients don't want to live like that for the rest of their lives or money.
When my father had a stroke and was only being kept alive by machines...I already knew his attitude regarding living like that. I had all life saving devises removed and he died almost instantly.
It is not an easy decision to say the least..there's that "what if" always in the back of your head.
But in this case I would wait alittle longer before making a decision like that, people have been known to come out almost normal after a few years of rehabilitation.

He should continue using the feeding tube.

Think.. What would he want? Ask his friends what they think he would want. If you were in this situation, what would you want? This may help. If not, have a family meeting or send a group email getting advice from other family members or close friends.

i think of you may desire to get a camry. they are good and risk-free. you may in all likelihood get a constructive 2007-2011 Camry SE on your selection. they are sporty and good. they are risk-free because of the fact a relative of mine crashed his 2011 right into a tree and it rolled over and him and his buddy walked off without a scratch and the motor vehicle rolled onto the passenger area.

I would wait a little longer than two months. But I would eventually do it. It's not fair for anyone.

I would not - even if he did show signs of improvement. Starving him to death is the same as locking him in a closet with no food. It's murder!
