Rock -N- Roll.... I'm an 80's baby.... but I like the lyrics better. We got stoned, drunk, thrown in jail, all that stuff..... but for the most part-- we didn't run around shooting each other just for something someone said. Most music today (not trying to be an expert... I don't know much of it!) seems like it's all about killing each other. We were just in it for the party. We had fun. Seems like today alot of the Hip Hop takes the fun out of fun.... not that the music is bad, but the lyrics are alot of hate and killing.
We had alot of here, smoke this and trip out on that lightshow kinda stuff.... not here smoke this and go shoot that guy....

Rock and roll. It has substance and makes you feel good. Hip -hop all around just flat out sucks.

Most every Hip Hop aritist isn't music inclined at all. Rock musician's especially old school as you call it musicians have talent. I mean look at the name of the music catagory even "Hip Hop" come on......
