There is creation in destruction. Yes, human energy is often spent on destruction. One person may stab another. This is a simple destructive act. A doctor might then treat clean and sew up the wound, prescribing antibiotics and something to ease the pain. The stabbing took only a small amount of energy. The doctor's five minutes cleaning and sewing the wound took more creative energy than the stabbing. Now consider the years of training and experience the doctor devoted to becoming a physician. Add the creative work of the doctor's teachers. Think about the years of science that led to the development of effective antibiotics.
The above is a single hypothetical situation, hardly representative of all destructive acts. However, I believe it correctly illustrates a point about creative and destructive acts in general. Much more human energy is required to perform creative acts. Destructive acts are often lazy acts, requiring very little energy at all.
People are still becoming doctors. Despite a shortage, people are still becoming teachers. Sufferers of drug addiction are courageously seeking treatment and change.
Therefore, my answer to the above question is no, I do not think more than 50% of human energy is spent on being destructive.

I would rather like to think that 50% of human energy is spent in being positive and contructive against being just destructive all the time - that would be unbearable. Don't you think?

well if you look at the magnitude of the 10 most constructive (love) events vs the 10 most destructive (fear) events, over any time span. The Destruction on 9/11 is much more severe than the magnitude of mother-theresa being a good person.

Not more that 50%. In that case our world would become smaller and we won't be able to build new cities, houses and grow in numbers. It is called balance.
