Question

I want to work from home.

I DO NOT want to start a business or do online surveys.

Something on the lines of data entry or telecomucating with my computer.

Again, I was told by 100's, that one should NEVER pay to get any info, or pay for a membership to work for a company.

I already have an Ebay store, but not profitable. Do not want to sell anything, or have to go door to door.

I cannot find anywhere for jobs at home. Maybe I am just missing something here? Want honest work from home, no get rich quick scemes. Any links??

Honestly? There are lots of people who work at home, but other than things like ebay stores, they are mostly doing work at home that they previously did in an office or other workplace, often for the employers that they worked for before in their facility.

Most of the work-at-home websites are scams. People really only make money by getting other people to "join", not by actually providing goods or services like a real job would.

There are a couple of work from home data entry companies that I have a passing knowledge of. One is LiveOps (www.liveops.com) and West from Home (www.workathomeagent.com). Basics are that you take calls at home then enter call information into forms that go to these companies. West provides you with software and I think LiveOps just has you enter it into online forms. Both companies require high-speed internet connections. For both you can work from home but you do need to be able to take phone calls without interuption during the time you are scheduled to be available for calls. Hope this helps you out.

I have a friend that works from home, but she has been with a company for a long time and rather than losing her as an employee, the company made some arrangements for her to still work from her home. I am not sure of any businesses that are legit that will allow you to strictly work out of your house. I'm not sure if I answered your question earlier with my travel business.
