Lips are a visible organ at the mouth of humans and many animals. Both lips are soft, protruding, movable, and serve primarily for food intake, as a tactile sensory organ, and in articulation of speech.
Functions of the lips:-
1- Food intake
Because they have their own muscles and bordering muscles, the lips are very movable. Lips are used for eating functions, like holding food or to get it in the mouth. In addition, lips serve to close the mouth airtight shut, and to hold food and drink inside, and to keep out unwanted objects. Through making a narrow funnel with the lips, the suction of the mouth is increased. This suction is essential for babies to breast feed.

2-Tactile organ
The lip has many nerve endings and reacts as part of the tactile (touch) senses. Lips are very sensitive to touch, warmth, and cold. It is therefore for toddlers an important aide for exploring unknown objects.

3- Articulation
The lips serve for creating different sounds - mainly the labial, bilabial and labiodental consonant sounds - and thus create an important part of the speech apparatus. The lips enable whistling and the performing of wind instruments like the trumpet, clarinet, and flute.
4- Facial expressions
See Full Article: facial expression. The lips visibly express emotions.

5- Erogenous zone
Because of its high amounts of nerve endings, the lips make an erogenous zone. Lips play a crucial role in kissing and other acts of intimacy.

Lips are a visible expression of fertility. It has been shown that the more estrogen a women has the fuller her lips and that full lips are considered attractive.Indeed lipstick "tricks" men into thinking that a women has more estrogen than she actually has and thus finding her more attractive.

to be elementary, if it gets the job executed then it would be a sturdy technique. certainty learn, maximum females do no longer want to offer head, for loss of a greater effective term, and with that pronounced..in the event that they do it dont assume them to take all of it in. until you're very short in the pants then it wont be a sturdy experience for the lady. merely take what you get and be satisfied that youre getting something in any respect.

Evolution has provided them, and for several reasons.

1) Reproduction. Since humans have been on 2 legs and doing it face to face rather than like animals (uh...well, all the time), there has been an artificial selection by the prospective mates in choosing good kissers and good lookers.

2) Safety. Our lips have just as much nerve-endings as our fingertips. Hot food, sharp utensils...there are lots of things that the lips need to warn us about. (Especially because your eyes don't see down there very well.)

3) Expression. Another mechanism of evolution, our lips allow us to express our feelings through facial shapes better. This does also directly relate to #1, as females and males do choose their mates based on facial responses during communications, and not just in bed.
