A milimiter (mm) is the tenth part of a centimeter (cm), so the answer is:
41 mm = 4.1 cm

You can use this table to convert with more ease:
1 meter = 100 centimeters = 1000 milimeters = 10^6 micrometers

Ok I will help you. 1m = 1000mm or 10dm or 100cm or 1000mm Mili tells 1000 1mm is 1/1000 of a meter. 1dm= 100mm or 0.10 meter or 1/10 of a meter 1cm =10mm or 0.010 meter 1mm = 0,001 meter does it make you confuse? No it does not. dm means 1/10 of a meter.. deci=ten 1/10 of a meter and centi means 1/100 of a meter. 2,75 meter = you have 2 meter and 0,75 meter here dont you? well that is 275 cm all together. I think I have to make it in another way. 2,75 m = 275cm you have here 2m 7dm and 5cm 8,3m = 830cm you have here 8m and 3dm. (3dm=30cm) 41,9cm=419mm here you have 4dm and 1cm and 9mm 6,25cm=62,5mm here you have just 6cm and 2mm, but the next digit, well thats a half of a mm, 0,5mm the answer is 62,5mm. 1,875km =1875meter as there are 1000m on a kilometer. 27,5m is as it tells 2,75m 0,4m=40cm remeber that there are 10dm on a meter and 100cm on a meter.. 3,666m=36,66dm or 366,6cm or 3666mm. Remember that 1km = 1000m 1m is divide into 10dm Deci means 10th of something 1m is divided into 100cm Centi means 100 of something 1m is divided into 1000mm Mili means 1000 of something I would like to explain it better but it is difficult to do it from here. I might be 10000 miles away.

Here is the trick to the metric system.
Use the phrase "King Herery Died Drinking Chocolate Milk"

K H D __ D C M

Kilo, Hecto, Deco - Unit of Measure - Deci, Centi, Milli

Put what ever number you know under the correct perfix, and move the decimal either to the right of left 1 space for every place it takes to get to the prefix you need to know. If there is not a visibal decimal, there is alwasy 1 at the end of any number. So, for this question, put 41 under milli, and meter is the unit of measure. Centi is 1 space to the left of milli, so move the decimal at the end of the number 1 space to the left which would be 4.1

(41 mm)(1m / 1000 mm)(100 cm / 1 m)

= (41 mm / 1000 mm)(1 m / 1 m)(100 cm)

= (0.041)(100 cm)

= 4.1 cm

4.1cm.Because in the ruler there are actually 10 parts in 1 cm.So 10mm = 1 cm.Well u can say that from mm to cm u multiply the magnitude (the number) by 10.Then from mm to m is multiply by 1000.
