Because his discovery of relativity has drastically changed the world, and not necessarily for the better either. He would not be my choice. Ronald Reagan would be because he brought Communism to its knees in Eastern Europe without ever firing a shot!! Sheer genius!!

He did NOT create the atomic bomb, contrary to mis-information. I updated wikipedia about a year on this issue!!!

He not only revolutionized scientific theory with the theory of relativity and also he changed the course of WW2 with the invention of the A bomb.
