Is it necessary for your BBT to reflect ovulation the same day that your cervical mucous reflects ovulation?

You should see fertile quality cervical mucus, eggwhite, starting a few days before and probably the day of ovulation and then your BBT should rise the day after ovulation. It is not necessasary to have eggwhite mucus the day of ovulation.

Any time you have cervical mucous, you are fertile (regardless of your BBT). But to be extra safe and careful, always take your BBT so you are able to see the changes in your body.

Hey my GYN told me that cough syrup that has guanificen in it actually thickens your cervical mucus and helps the egg stick once it's been fertilized.
