What about the T.V. actor, Thompson? It's an American tradition.

Being a hardcore Democrat, obviously neither is my candidate of choice, but if I had to choose, Mitt Romney seems to be the better candidate. Although I disagree with his religion, I do think he is probably a good man with morals.
I like Rudy's personality and some of his ideas and he has shown strong leadership abililty, especially during the 911 tragedy, but he's been too much of a wild man in the past for my blood.

NEITHER. For the normal U.S. citizen, Mitt Romney is a nobody (no name recognition, no idea who he is, no reason to vote for him). Rudy Guiliani has a shot, but a slim one. If it were 4 years ago, just a couple years after 9/11 when Guiliani stood strong and was the 'go to guy' for strength in the middle of chaos he would have had a shot. Now, he has been out of the American eye for too long.

Romney has bought himself into contention, but he is the ultimate chameleon on issues. Rudy is in this not for July 2007, since it's a year before the convention. McCain is the candidate who is being tremendously hurt with Romney's push in the polls, and there seems to be desperation with his attacks on Mitt's quips.

Neither! Did you know that both of these candidates advocate an interventionist, pre-emptive foreign policy -- which, by the way, is THE number one cause of the rampant disdain towards America throughout the world? Did you know that 99% of federal income taxes collected go to pay ONLY the interest on our sky-high national debt? And how do we continually fund our wars and government programs? By borrowing from foreigners and PRINTING MONEY. This simply cannot continue. The dollar bubble is set to explode, which will usher in a period of economic despair this country hasn't experienced since the 1930s.
I don't care who anyone chooses to vote for, but PLEASE get informed about the candidates and what they stand for. Then, make an EDUCATED choice. In my opinion, this is one of the most important presidential elections of the last 50 years.
Thank you.

Guiliani. Romney's faith would be under a plenty greater effective scrutiny if he get nomination, beginning door for democrat candidate. For starters, His mormon ties make it a challenge to get hispanic and black vote given the mormon's historic racist ideals.

That is strange. Rudy did such a great job of using 9/11 to make himself some money and push his own agenda. You'd think he would be able to apply that to his campaign better. Maybe he needs to write another book. I don't know which is a better contender, but I'd take Romney any day.

Probably Rudy Giuliani.
Mitt Romney seems to be picking up a slightly wingey aura.

I like Romney far better (and would not vote for Giuliani), but I think Giuliani has the better chance for winning the general election. Although I think that Romney can knock of Hillary also.

Romney has some good talking points on social issues. I like Giuliani's no nonsense personality. Either way, I just hope McCain doesn't get the nomination, he's too wishy washy for me.
