my husband has been approached by this company to make an industrial claim for his hearing. I don't know whether or not to trust them. Can anyone help

No, you should NOT trust them .. unless YOU ASKED them to contact you, then how did they find out that your husband needed to make a claim ?

Either they are just 'fishing' (or should that be 'phishing' ?) or they have got his name via some dubious means (eg. illegal access to his medical records).

If you think he has a claim, go find a proper 'no-win no fee' Solicitor ... if you engage some random "consultants" you will be charged ££££ for them doing nothing ... (they will call it an 'Insurance' or some such)

Look at what's happened to the ex-miners with lung trouble - MILLIONS paid out in compensation of which HALF went to the rip-off "claims" companies ...
