was there a mistake?

We could be considered god's mistake if we believe in a God that is all powerful and omniscient. But then if he is all powerful and knows it all, it would be impossible for him to make a mistake. So it seems that God is our mistake, or maybe it is our simplistic interpretation of God.

LOL! first tell me do you know what/who is God??? you wouldn't be asking this if you knew what he was!!

Just to clarify:
for the one who think that God is a mistake ... you are his mistake he never should have created you...
and the one who believes that we are God's mistake... u have made a big mistake chosing and understanding your God!

Neither. We are our own mistake. Whether or not God created us, we have the means and potential to be successful. Wars. Poverty. Pollution. Crime. It is all our own doing. But you can hardly blame God, because as responsible as we are for our own crimes, we are equally capable of fixing them if we put aside our greed and selfishness. Even if God exists, there is no sense using him as an excuse for what is obviously our own fault.
