Like it or not, we gotta go through old age. Afraid of being old will not make us younger, instead, it kinda make us get older FASTER! Don'tcha think so? I mean, fear and worries will age you quickly compared to those who lead a worry-free life. So, the only think we can do is to enjoy this life since life is short! Just do what we enjoy! Is a matter of now or never!

Yes, on occasion I am. I'm 45 and will be 46 in November, my now black hair is slowly turning gray and my goatee is already turned gray. I look at myself in the mirror some days and wonder who the old man is that has taken over who I am now, because I really don't feel old... not usually, anyway. There are days when I feel 106 and it's usually when my kids acheive something pr do something and I actually have to own up to being old enough to be their father. Big time reality check, one that I wish would bounce sometimes.

I'm not old, but older than probably you...you can't look down the road, it just grows on you with each phase of life..by the time you are old, you deal with it..

No, i'm actually looking forward to it. I admit, seeing the candles multiply hurts after 30. However, every candle represents a life lesson learned, experience, achievements, and the pride that comes with wisdom.

Makes me a little nervous. Especially when I go visit my grandfather in the nursing home. I think about when he was much stronger and more vibrant. And now he is feeble and struggles to walk.

I'm there, so there is nothing to fear, and anyway when I was younger, I was never afraid of aging. To age is to gain wisdom.
